What I Offer

Services

Three formats. Each designed for a different relationship with wealth — and a different kind of conversation.

All sessions are conducted in strict confidence. Whether you are an individual seeking clarity, a family leader preparing for succession, or a family navigating a shared transition, the work begins with a careful intake process to ensure the format is right for your situation. Wealth Counselling is designed to work alongside — not in place of — the legal, financial, and advisory teams already serving your family.

01
Heirs & next generation

Individual Session

60 minutes

For individuals navigating the psychological reality of inherited or anticipated wealth. This is a space to explore identity, purpose, and the emotional weight that significant wealth can carry — without the pressure of family expectation or financial performance.

What to expect

  • A confidential, non-judgmental space to speak freely
  • Exploration of identity and self-worth beyond the family name
  • Support through transitions — inheritance, family conflict, life direction
  • Integration of psychodynamic and somatic approaches tailored to you

This may be right for you if

  • Adult heirs adjusting to inherited or anticipated wealth
  • Individuals experiencing anxiety, purposelessness, or relational difficulty connected to wealth
  • Those preparing for a significant financial transition
  • Next-generation family members seeking clarity before entering family governance
02
Wealth creators & family leaders

Patriarch / Matriarch Session

90 minutes

An extended format designed for those who carry the weight of legacy. This session creates space to examine what you have built, what you want it to mean, and how to prepare your family — and yourself — for what comes next. Written reflections are incorporated to deepen the work between sessions.

What to expect

  • Extended time to explore succession, legacy, and family dynamics in depth
  • Written reflection prompts to continue the work between sessions
  • A clinically rigorous, confidential space free from financial or legal agendas
  • Support in articulating values and intentions across generations

This may be right for you if

  • Founders and wealth creators approaching succession
  • Patriarchs or matriarchs navigating family conflict around inheritance
  • Those who have experienced the loss of a peer or family member and are reconsidering legacy
  • Leaders seeking psychological clarity before major family or business decisions
03
2–4 family members

Family Intensive

Half-day — 3.5 hours

A structured half-day session for small family groups navigating a shared challenge — succession planning, inheritance conflict, generational transition, or the articulation of shared values. The intensive is designed to help family members align emotionally and practically in service of a common goal. It includes a structured intake process and a follow-up integration session.

What to expect

  • Pre-session intake with each participant individually
  • Facilitated half-day session with Dr Kaur
  • Structured exercises to surface and address relational dynamics
  • A follow-up integration session to consolidate progress
  • Written summary of key themes and agreed intentions

This may be right for you if

  • Families in active succession planning who need psychological facilitation
  • Multigenerational families experiencing conflict around inheritance or control
  • Family units preparing for a significant transition — sale of a business, death of a patriarch, etc.
  • Families seeking to articulate shared values before establishing a family constitution or governance structure

Founders, entrepreneurs & those carrying significant wealth

Wealth Therapy

Ongoing — pace adapted to you

For those who have built, inherited, or come to carry significant wealth — founders, entrepreneurs, family business leaders, investors, creatives, and those in the public eye. This is a space to explore the emotional landscape that wealth creates, but rarely allows you to name: guilt, identity, isolation, the pressure to perform a role, and the search for meaning beyond achievement.

Wealth Therapy is not financial advice or coaching. It is a therapeutic process — psychodynamic and somatic in approach — that takes seriously the emotional realities wealth can amplify: envy, shame, visibility, responsibility, and the expectations of family, business, and community.

What to expect

  • A confidential, non-judgmental space to speak openly about money, identity, and meaning
  • Exploration of guilt, belonging, and self-worth in the context of a high-value life
  • Work on trust — in others, and in yourself — as relationships shift alongside your financial position
  • Attention to the pressure to maintain appearances, roles, or expectations placed on you by family, business, or community
  • Support in articulating the values you wish to carry forward, for yourself or the next generation
  • A pace and structure adapted to your priorities, whether you are in crisis or seeking reflection

This may be right for you if

  • You are a founder, entrepreneur, or family business leader carrying the emotional weight of what you have built
  • You are an investor, philanthropist, creative, or public figure whose visibility brings its own pressures
  • You sense that relationships around you have changed since your financial position shifted
  • You feel a quiet loneliness or sense of disconnection, despite outward success
  • You are wrestling with questions of legacy, giving, or the desire to make a difference
  • You are concerned about patterns — including addiction — that have developed alongside the demands of a high-value life
  • You have never had therapy before, or you have worked with coaches, consultants, and ancillary service providers and are ready to go deeper

This work is discreet, respectful, and shaped around your pace and priorities.
